Preston Maheu is an American singer, songwriter, trumpet player, and composer, whose music features sweeping melodies, rich harmony, and luscious arrangements.

Surrounded from childhood by the sounds of Motown, rock, jazz, and classical, Maheu has been performing across genres for 15+ years. His interests were fostered by his parents, both from musical backgrounds, who instructed him in trumpet, piano, vocals, and music theory.

His debut album, Astray was released in 2020 (under the name “Preston”) and features tracks which range from impressionistic blues ballads to driving dance pop.

In April of 2022, Maheu commanded an audience of over 130 in Atlanta, featuring a 15 piece orchestra to bring Astray, and new compositions to the stage.

His forthcoming album, Life Imitates Art will blend elements of pop, rock, and jazz with romantic symphonic orchestrations.
